For instance, the middle pickup is not a pickup at all! It is merely a dummy, there to preserve the look of the Strat. The two actual pickups are high powered Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders, excellent and versatile units.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA significant feature of this guitar is the custom scalloping on the fingerboard. It is gradual, beginning a few frets up on the heavier strings and at the nut for the lighter strings. The scalloping is shallow to begin with, gaining in depth as the frets progress higher.
