Stunning Paul Reed Smith Custom P22 - this is effectively a Custom 22 with an additional Piezo. Stunning flame Maple top on this and it looks superb with its Black Gold finish.

 

This is a supremely versatile guitar offering both electric and acoustic tones. It's in excellent condition with just a few barely visible blemishes that you’d have to closely inspect to find (we’ve exaggerated some of these significantly on the photos under direct studio lighting, but in normal lighting they are difficult to see). The frets have only minor (cosmetic only) signs of wear, and there's no breaks or repairs. Everything works as it should without issue.

 

It features a Mahogany body, figured Maple top, comfortable Pattern Regular profile Mahogany neck, Rosewood fingerboard with decorative bird inlays, stoptail bridge and open-gear tuners.

 

The original pickups sound fantastic with a warm, vintage-inspired voice with clear highs and balanced mids, delivering everything from thick rock tones to subtle clean textures with clarity and depth. There is a 5-way switch which provides access to both full humbucker and split single coil tones.

 

Complementing the humbuckers is the LR Baggs piezo system embedded in the stoptail bridge. This allows the guitar to produce realistic acoustic tones that can be blended with the electric, and there are 2 outputs for tonnes of flexibility. For example you may want to plug in to your favourite electric or acoustic guitar amp or DI into a soundboard. By utilising the separate blend control, the tone of the 85/15 pickups can also be combined with acoustic sounds through a single output.
