This is the rarer 'Road Worn' relic version which was only made for a few years before being discontinued - and this highly collectible guitar has a 2011 build date, making it one of the first to be made.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is based on his heavily modified 1965 Jaguar, where the traditional pickups were changed to a pair of DiMarzio humbuckers, namely a Super Distortion in the bridge and a PAF in the neck. This of course completely changes the sound: the spiky, nasal twang of the Jag is replaced with thick, powerful humbucker rock sounds; it's a very chunky sound!\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe rosewood neck is bound and the headstock is small like a Stratocaster. Even the infamous Jaguar tone controls have been simplified to a three way toggle and a brace of volume and tone knobs.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOther features include a comfortable modern C profile neck, 9.5\" radius, medium jumbo frets, Gotoh tuners, and floating tremolo tailpiece with lock button.
