The pickups were designed with Steve Vai and are high-gain pickups that\u003cspan\u003e excel with overdrive and distortion and really cut through the mix. Ideal if you are doing plenty of lead work and for those \u003c\/span\u003esquealing pinched harmonics, these pickups work equally well for rhythm and lead work making the guitar incredibly versatile.
