Beautiful JD Signature telecaster finished in a transparent crimson red. This is the rarer version with the JD initials on the front of the headstock.

It is based on the popular ‘62 Custom Telecaster with its double bound body and exceptional Japanese build quality, and has various premium upgrades which elevate the guitar vs traditional models.

It’s in excellent condition with some minor blemishes on close inspection - as per the photos.

It features a double bound Alder body, a comfortable ‘V’ profile Maple neck, 7.25” radius, 21 frets, and traditional style bridge. Premium upgrades include a trio of super-sounding Lace Sensor Hot Gold single coil pickups, treble bleed with quality pots/wiring and Gotoh brass compensated saddles for improved tuning/intonation.

It has 5-way switching for increased versatility vs typical telecasters, and we’ve added a hard-case to keep this beautiful guitar protected..

Note: 90’s Jerry Donahue telecasters like this one are notoriously difficult to date accurately to a specific year, as the serial numbers are often incorrect and Fender Japan didn’t keep accurate data in the 90’s. Like many JD signatures, this guitar has an ‘A’ serial number which would place it as an 1980’s build, however that was prior to the model being launched.
