1980 Fender American Stratocaster – Black

Vintage USA strat finished in classic all black - looks very 'Gilmour'. Serial number dates this to 1979, but we suspect it to be a 1980 build given neck stamps.

It displays some wear (as you'd expect for a 44 year old guitar) and has some blemishes, dings and light rash on close inspection, as highlighted/exaggerated under direct lighting for our photos. Everything works as it should and without issue.

It features an Ash body, comfortable Maple neck with medium profile, 70’s headstock with bullet truss, F-stamp tuners and 6-saddle tremolo bridge. We believe the middle pickup has been updated, but we aren't able to identify the model - it sounds great in all positions though. It comes with a vintage style case and trem arm.
