This beautiful vintage Les Paul Signature from 1974 is an exceptionally crafted semi-hollow body guitar, showcasing the highest attention to detail that Gibson is known for. Only 1,500 Les Paul Signatures were ever produced, already making them quite rare. While most of these guitars feature a goldtop finish, this particular model stands out with its exceptional Sunburst finish. What sets it apart even further is its scarcity in the 70s when only 84 out of the 1,500 were manufactured in this distinctive Sunburst variation, making it highly collectible.

Over time, the finish on this instrument has developed a beautiful patina, showcasing natural relicing and lacquer checking. The aging process has enhanced its unique character, making it truly one-of-a-kind. It has some wear to some of the frets but purely cosmetic and not affecting playability at all. Everything works as it should without issue.

Features include a maple top, mahogany neck, and bound rosewood fretboard with block inlays. The hardware includes Kluson deluxe tuners, a chrome stop-bar tailpiece and a tune-o-matic bridge. It has two low-impedance pickups that delivery an articulate and distinct tone, and it has a unique control layout, including a master volume, master tone, phase switch pot, and a three-way rotary level control, as well as two outputs; a low impedance one on the side and a high impedance one on the front. Together, all these features offer a vast array of tonal possibilities, allowing for versatile and creative expression.
